Terms of use

These terms cover using Remake and the other Quickly Clip sites, and buying credits. In plain language, because the beta is small and the rules are simple.

The beta

  • Quickly Clip is in beta, and the beta is for people in the United States.
  • You must be 18 or older to buy credits.

Your account

You sign in with your email: we send you a link, and there's no password. One account works on every Quickly Clip site, with one balance. Anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account, so keep your email secure. Invite codes keep working as before; they can't buy credits.

What you upload

  • Only upload photos, video and other files you own or have permission to use.
  • The people in them must be OK with being in a film. If anyone under 18 appears, a parent or guardian has to agree.
  • On Remake, the video you copy (a TikTok link or a video you upload) is a reference for timing and style only. Only use one you're allowed to use that way; your remake never contains its footage or sound.
  • Star in it (on Remake) turns photos of people into AI video. Use it only with photos of you, or of someone who agreed, and never with photos of anyone under 18.
  • No illegal content.

What you get

Every film is made by AI and provided as is. The editor can miss what you asked for, and no person reviews a film before you see it. If a film fails, its credit comes back to you automatically.

Your free film

Each email gets one free film, once, on any Quickly Clip site (Star in it excepted). It ends with a short Quickly Clip card. If it fails, you get it back.

Credits and payment

  • Credits come in packs: 1 for $9.99, 3 for $24.99 and 10 for $69.99, in US dollars.
  • A film uses 1 credit on Keepsake, Rollcut and Remake, and 3 for Remake's Star in it. An edit on Quickly Clip Pro uses 2, and its revisions are free.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe on its checkout page; we never see your card details. Credits are added once the payment goes through.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

Share links and invite links

  • You can share a finished film by link. Anyone with the link can watch it until you stop sharing or the film is deleted, so only share films that the people in them are OK with others seeing. We may turn off a link that breaks these terms.
  • When someone signs up with your invite link and makes their free film, you get 1 credit, for up to 10 friends. Inviting yourself, or signing up again under another address, doesn't count, and we may remove credits earned that way. Referral credits have no cash value and can't be refunded.
